About Me

I’m from Sydney, Australia and I’ve been living and working in the Hague since January 2007. I generally like the city, but I hate the weather (doesn’t everyone?). Before moving here I was living in Germany (Passau, Bavaria) for 2 years, where I learned German and lived (happily) like a University student before deciding I should earn some money again. I enjoy going out for a beer, wine, or coffee, and just wasting an afternoon or evening. I make friends easily, and try to be inclusive (ie. you’re welcome to join me).

I’ve been living in an overpriced but otherwise nice apartment near the Haagse Hogeschool, but I really want to live in a good flatshare again, and closer to the city. I’ve always had good experiences with flatsharing, and I hope I can find a nice place with a/some great flatmate(s) here!

I’m a clean and considerate flatmate, quiet, and respectful of privacy. I’m happy to have a communal kitchen (sharing some/most food) or to buy separately. I usually cook just for myself, but some meals are big or easy enough to share.

I am a meat-eater and will eat/cook it at home, but I won’t be offended if you choose not to.

In my spare time I go out with friends, watch movies or TV shows (usually on my computer), do geeky things on my computer (like programming for fun), or go traveling.

My desired flatmate(s)

Young professionals or students who can speak English and a second language, or are learning a second language. Male or female is not a problem, gay or straight is not a problem (so long as I don’t have to hear sex or see naked bodies in either case!)

I clean up after myself and would like flatmates who do the same most of the time.

How to contact me

At the moment the best way to contact me is by email on
